Dear Colleagues Across
the Curriculum on both
sides of the desk:

Placebo & Euphemism

Ratcheting up for excellence
in these days of economic
distress and uncertainty. . .

MERIT PLAY

Reforming Education:

Name the smartest kid
in your classes. Dumbest.
Highest QPA. Lowest.
Smartest teacher &
stupidest.

Assess.
Characterize.
Look for correlations.
Commensurability. Data.

My smarting students are
certifiable ADD ADHD
jitterbug cutters & joggers,
bingers & purgers, weed
smoking bi-polear stalkers,
assaulters, internet surfers,
cell-phonic photo journal-ers,
bloggers, multi-tasking home
schooled gamers: an
embarrassment
of riches:

My mission:
to reduce & convert,
change & revise: reconfigure, re-
form & format, recalibrate, trans-
forming explosive simultaneous
constellations of ongoing possibility
into arrows of willful and conscious
intentionality: purpose, aim, goal—
marshaling affect & intellect to get
Rdone, take the credit & run.

Liberal Art.

The better I do this the more play
I get; the less: the least.
Noble calling:
noblesse
obliged

xxxooo, Presbyter
