Idios Daemon.
This is the name Socrates gave to his
“tutelary” guide, his source of inspiration,.
local food, muse, counselor, paraklete,
personal relation with Jesus so to speak,
will of the whisper, conscience, counter
intuitive intuition...
How many names for ways-we-talk
about our immaculate conceptions,
our font for original idea, our creative
impulse, your personal name for what
seems to take over when you are lost
in IT –in performance, in play, in any
creative (as opposed to consuming)
action?
Do you have your own NAME for IT?
(IT, I said: do I have to spell IT out?)
Idios: personal, private, individual, not
to be replicated, no-2-snowflakes-alike
originality. You know it as idiosyncratic.
But it's idiocy—appropriately antithetical
& complementary to “socios-cy”: the
common sense of community.
So: from where do you primarily draw
your insight, your contribution,
resourcefulness, guidance:
from your idiocy or from
your common sense?
WRITE FIRST: Think Later?
TALK FIRST: Think Later?
Leap before you …?
Priorities? Your
governance and
regulatory
system?
Describe.
