Rigor and Innovation

The 2 Economies

“Rigor” is the kind of word
Howard Cosell would use
to describe Mohammad
Ali’s training sessions

Mohammad, on the other
hand, would eschew such
language

Can you imagine Ali, saying
“that was a rigorous, what a
workout!"

Of course not: that kind of
talk is employed by those
who watch, observe, analyze,
criticize.

Commodity talk.

The Ali’s are just boxing.

And the same with “discipline”
& Profession and Professional.
Howard Cosell talk, let’s call it:
expert-spectator talk applied to
the neaten-down & tidy-up
the proper frenzy, obsession, &
compulsion of any caught in delight.
Lost..

"Innovative"?

A consumer term.
An application describing
results of some devoted
idiot guitarist, say,  playing
on bloody fingers: ah aHA
That sound! It's killing me. .
