In the Heart of the Heart of General Educating

Catalytic Conversations.
    (Butter flies in Brazil
    Hurricanes in Kansas)

    General Education.

These children will do exactly
what I want or I assign them “C’s.”

Don’t matter the subject. content,
direct objects of study--biology or
philosophy, sociology or varieties
of literary  experience: all the same
deal—the deep grammar of hire
education.

Do what I say or you get C.

Don’t let the various topics eclipse
what’s actually happening. Name
of the game all the same, ex-officio
authority: our environed mental
studies & leadership pogroms.

Like a finite 3-chord progression
that  generates an infinite number
of  country  and western songs: a
course is a course is a course and

1) here’s what we’re going  to do,
2) here’s us  doing it,
3) here’s what  we did.

No matter what the subject-matter.
IT’s the same game.

          Or you get “C.”

Like conversation.

I think it’s about “this” or “that”
—oil spills or vacation plans—
& insist it is what it is, but it’s
not, it’s about the converse-action:
relationship manipulation, who’s on
top? who’s not? see me, hear me,
touch me, feed me: let me count
the ways it still amounts to the
same deal. not with standing
appearances on the one
hand, realities on the
others.

      Need we argue?
