My Environed Mental Sustainable Studies & Leadership Program

Dear American Literati, Readers in Humanities,
Dialecticians and Colleagues Across the Curriculum

(Courses w/o.Borders Series)

My Environ Mental  Sustainable Studies &
             Leadership Program

        The Ludic Frame of Mind:
                  Game, In-play

   The Illudic  (Illusory, Delusory)Frame
                   of Mind:
          Not a game, not in-play:
                    out of it.

I already told you (risking what might be
called reputation) : my courses are a  JOKE.

I'm SERIOUS.

You may or may not Get IT but you're
paying for it regardless.

Tuition, it's called.

As opposed to Intuition and then
           in opposition to both:

     Counter Intuition.

These 3 and the greatest of these is__?
(Which do you trust most: your tuition,
your intuition, your counter-intuition?)

If you bring your Serious-Not-a Joke
Frame of Mind-Set and Values into my
classes as your Standard Criteria Measure
of Expectation and Evaluation, you will be
frustrated. Appalled  Maybe outraged.

Understandably. .

Imagine assessing a JOKE in terms of clarity,
consistency, coherence and  utility!  Ridiculous.

Like wise: if you take this Ludic-Fool-Around-
Put-It-in Play Frame of Mind-Set & Value
System  into Them Other Classes you'll surely
frustrate prof-&-class and bring about a
consternation.

Imagine, assessing a Serious Course of
Information & Instruction in terms of fooling
around, putting it in play, turning up confusion
and conflict, random and chaos. Absurd!

Got to be able to tell the difference.
And the relationship, too.

    It’s an environmental issue.
      A sustainability concern

“If a fool persist in his ways, he becomes wise,”
says William Blake, and “The Road of Excess
leads to the Palace of Wisdom.”

Get it?

It's not what we know that counts
(information's galore) so much as
whether we can put IT in play
.
Need we argue?  Of course.
We must.. Or what's a college for?

(Dillar a Dollar us 8:00 scholars—that's a joke
crying out loud right there.)

xxxooo, Sam...
