Fools Rush Inn
. .
Angels Dancing on a Pin
I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to provoke Gary H. into
supporting my efforts to elaborate this distinction (one I
know he acknowledges) or any of my colleagues across
the curriculum to separate and polarize so that we might
promote a common way of considering and talking about
the overall excellent relationship —without which we suffer
the heavy metal sound of one-handed-clapping, our
conscientious house bands; Assessable Aims &
The Objectives, Measurable Goals &
The Accountabilities
I’m not complaining because I love me some pioneering
frontiers yet unknown , but it’s a stalwart challenge &
presumption single-handedly to be re-calibrating the
ENVIRONMENTAL thermostat round here so as to
accommodate the anarchy-exposing chaos of random-
to-order ratios necessary to be generating new stuff—
you know: the innovative attitude we insist strategically
complements our rigor, cultivating the ignorance our growth
requires says Henry T.: instead of steadfast mono-cultural
use & abuse of knowledge and the common sense...
I’m thinking of the students:
the stress it generates loosening their grasp on our Straight
Arrow domineering paradigmatic aims & objectives,
measurable goals and work-program accountabilities
occluding our need to fool around with it, put it in play.
.
Like building an ice cream parlor in hell while doing no
injustice to hot or cold: the two economies, the two
ecologies--fools rush in while angels dance on the heads
of pins: a marriage of heaven and hello.
Wholeness. Wellness.
Empowerment.
And why can’t they Just Get Along?
It’s an environmental issue, don't you agree?
xxxooo, Sam;.
