Juxtpsoing Juxtapositions

Dear Collegues Across the
Curriculum on both sides
       of the Desk

Since we last met: Earthquakes,
Tidal Waves, Nuclear Meltdown,
Snow, & Revolution Across the
Middle East.

JUXTAPOSE JUXTAPOSITIONS

One of 2 words that I claim stuck
with me from college, picked up in
history of art  where it seemed as
ubiquitous as “awesome” is today
and “sustainable.”

To Just Position 2 or more Items
next to each other, is all. Oppositions
of  opposing opposition. No obvious
relationship, no obvious connection

Image of Earthquake, Tsunami,
Nuclear Meltdown, Snow and
            Revolution.

Juxtaposed.  Just asking for IT.
Just begging for connection.
A relationship.

If there were a grade-gun to your
head and the order

       : JUST CONNECT,

you’d do it. You’d connect IT all,
because that’s what we do: MAKE
our Connections, connect the spots,
do the math. .

(Or we use/abuse someone else’s:
the common sense, perhaps..)
