Why Study Epistemology (part II)

Dear Colleagues,

                                   Nonsense
  Sense
  No Sense At All

           mothers of invention

What makes "sense" systemically
(in terms of whole systems: corporations,
states, nations, communities, class-rooms
families, marriages), isn't the same as what
makes sense in terms of parts--true?

What’s good for goose &  gander
isn’t close to what’s good for
the farm.

I interpret & estimate & "understand"
wholes" in the terms &  terminologies
of parts, partially.

I will scold GE in the terms of a typical
taxpayer,  call Warren Wilson green,
chastise  Exxon & BP & Banks of
America as if  they were people-like-me:
immoral or greedy or at least acting like
selfish bad-boys bad boys & what you
going to do when we come for you!

Is that a handicap? Liability?
Best I can do? An ignorance.
Confusion?

That I do it and unconsciously conspire
to do it,. validate my self in others-doing-it
(Ways We Talk ): does that make it less
of an ongoing, transparent (invisible)
epistemological error?  Less damaging?
(Damning, damnit!)

How sustainable is THAT?
Pretty sustainable I guess seeing as
it seems species-solipsistic, sealed-in
habit tattoos & no one cracks the
convention or considers discrepancies
between parts and more than sums of
parts called wholes and how-it-is one
of  these is NOT like the other.

No wonder I am continuously confounded,
slapping my head in consternation at the
stupidity of things-over-all not making my
common sense OMG I’m not believing what
Syria just done, what Congress, what
Wisconsin,  the Union , Glenn Beck,
the Biebs…
