Exploiting Diversity

Dear Colleagues (both sides of the desk)
 

   An English major & Chemistry student, Environmental
   Studies person & History
addict, Biologist, Sociologist,
   Anthropologist,
& Religion majors, Gender Studies, Math
   people, Music minors and Artists all walk into a cinder
   block & florescent classroom
at 8 o’clock in the morning . . .

Why?

Why would they walk in together at such an ungodly hour?

What could possibly motivate such a varied group to
congregate, and what could they possibly have in common
to justify meeting like this?  What would hold them together,
so to speak--the ties that bind--and how would they possibly
Just Get Along? And get stuff done? Cover ground?

Such diversity. Resource fullness.
Local food for thought: imagine the
possible outcomes?  Measurable
after the fact, sure. Monday Morning
Quarterbacking. Howard Cosel
making it perfectly clear, the patterns
of cause & effect--biff & bam--
in retrospect.

Not so clear in medias res.
In performance. In actual
play.

Elephant in the room.   What's IT like from where you sit?
Speak up. How will we know if you don't say?   We'll
be ingorant then. Missing links.
