Save Now (Stalwart Salve)
Liberal Art
(not to be confused with the
liberal art, those majors, minors
& capstone experiences)
Does any one know or have any
experience with stalwart-ness and
how stalwart one has to be to
explore cerebra/affective frontiers
yet unknown —the margins and
edges of the box, bubble, culture,
custom, convention, conveniences
which are our habits and habitats?
What does it take to cross the line
in any school of america, or at least
approach the Red Sea—out of
Egypt into the wilderness toward
promised lands yet unknown?
Or put IT your way.
The more ways to
talk about it (the liberal art)
the better, maybe even the
merrier.
I need some stalwart salve, boundary-land
balm, outlaw territorial wishing gives me
the gee-willies on a regular basis & yet I
can’t cease from exploration—frontier-man
c’est moi & bet I’m not the only one.
Bart Simpson sticking my finger in the light
socket again and again , ouch, shit, damnit:
shocking & expecting maybe the next time
a caress or just tickle.
Stalwart salve & salvage.
Just asking for it
Hosanna ("save now").
xxxooo, Sam
