In what kinds of context or environment if you
prefer,is it possible to piss someone off without
Pissing Them Off, know what I mean? Distress
without stressing-out? Demoralize without
demoralization?
What?
This is a good question, yes?
Imagine. Bring it on.
I just read a NY Times article by a woman who
eventually outgrew years of depression and suicidal
tendencies, months of hospitalization and anguish
and became a therapist having been there, done that,
and built up expertise and savvy to help extremely
self-destructive youth.

One of her principles:
Everything anyone does makes its
own systemic sense.
I can slap the side of my head at someone’s
(or my own) seemingly dysfunctional action
and exclaim: What? What the?
That’s just nuts!
Or suspend belief and disbelief and know
there’s some organizational sense going on
here: Ah so: very interesting.
She calls her approach Dialectical Behavioral
Therapy – built on the simple triadic structure
we all know as
Thesis <----> Antithesis = Synthesis.
Protagonist <----> Antagonist = Agon.
“Without contraries is No Progress,” says Blake.
Kick-Ass going on and on by any other name:
ouch ooo um whee oooff damnit
Progress
Ludic: contest (agon), game, sport, play.
Illudic (illusion – no-game) also known
as agony.
Chose your frame of minding:
1)Is this a Game or Not a Game?
2) This is no Game 3) This is a Game..
In-game: got to love the enemy or forget about it.
Turn the other cheek psychologically, conceptually
—no sticks & stones going on here. Mere ego
crucifixion so to speak. Lucky me. Hurts so good. .
Bring it on.
The opposition.
How else get better if not good at it?
(An environmental issue: school & be schooled.)
