Love the Enemy (Common Sense)
General Education and Advice
Love the Enemy.
(Common Sense)
“Neither Logic nor
Sermons Convince”
(Whitman)
A former work director
(prior to the decanal designation)
named David Sokol in the early
80’s coined the term TRIAD and
it stuck like white on rice.
He created a notebook given to all
incoming (then called) freshmen with
everything they needed to know &
& might be afraid to ask working out
the devilish details they must track over
the next four years—checking for this
& that, each item scratched off in the
TRIAD Requirement of Academics,
Work, Service, tabbed conveniently
for reference, anticipating all questions
& concerns that might perplex if not
come into play once and for all so
that no child might be left a behind. .
In Loco Parentis then, now a days
reinforced with helicopters.
