Just Say No to Truth if It Hurts
Just Say No to Truth if It Hurts
I like arguing.
Troll & bully bully
dangling over a pit of hello:
Facebook threading best I can.
Fencing with face masks and
protection: parry foibles & touche.
Nothing’s going to change my mind.
It’d take blunt force trauma to
reconfigure attitude & outlook,
recalibrate my mind set in its ways
& mean: bolt from the blue or
hooked & hauled into the canoe
to flip & flop in absolut dryness,
(Title of Warren Wilson’s
Brandon Lacy Campos’s recent
book of poetry: It Ain’t Truth
if It Doesn’t Hurt)
