             Thanksgiving
 
O, please let us make our Common
Sense so that we continue as before
so ahead: our aims and goals and
measurable outcomes saying what
we’re going to do, doing it. and saying
that we did it & how. Thank you.

        Our Original Spin
 
    In linguistics class we discovered
that we hate each other.  Just describing
of course.  Revelation. Small apocalypse.
Eureka. No wonder so many failures to 
communicate,  problems in communication.
 
O the inadequacy of language. Words:
can’t live withem. Resistance uber alles;
             Yes-Buts galore.
 
Homeland Insecurity but of course.  I beg
to differ is why I can’t  Just  Get Along.
 
I hate each other. Let it be an operating
assumption.
 
Now that THAT's  no longer in-denial
covered  over like some evil I under  the
floorboards or walden the basement or
locked in the cupboard with the cupcakes,
I  can wonder what it is we talk about
when we talk about what we talk about
when we talk about about love and make
that make some common sense. too.
