Ah, the Humanity!
Ah, the Humanities
(not to be collapsed with
the Sciences & the Arts)
Why Reading Hawthorne
Makes Me a Better Person.
The Minister put on the Black Veil
to expose the cover-up covering up:
my hate, my fear et al: my craving
for attention efficiency after all I'm
only human no more or less a
humanist.
Crave Attention
Of course.
Look Ma: No Hands!
See Me.
Hear Me.
Touch Me.
Feed Me.
At least Like Me,
if not Love & Hate. .
I can say:
“It’s the principle of the thing.”.
or
“We can’t have a second Obama term”
or
“Pass the salt”
or
"Why can't we improve "the schedule"?
or
“I’ll tell you what’s wrong with education,
with the church, with democracy, with
the economy, with Wall Street, with
immigration policy, with teenagers today……
or
“Young Goodman Brown wouldov been a Good
Man if he’d been able to be a Bad Man but he
insisted on being a Good Man so he was a Bad
Man indeed.
etc.
And it’s all Crave Attention I’m clamoring for;
pardon me, my emperor’s big butt: I keep it
covered, best I can.
(If you quote me on this I'll have to deny it.
You understand, I'm sure.)
