Toward Frontiers Yet Unknown

Is there really no way that you can think of to evaluate
how well your students have learned what you have
to teach them?

Lots of  ways: and each way  is  something like a digital
reduction of an analogue process so that I will pretty much
get what I aim, propose, determine to derive in accord with
my agenda and expected outcomes.

The wayfarer, Perceiving the pathway to truth,
Was struck with astonishment. It was thickly grown with weeds.
"Ha," he said, "I see that none has passed here In a long time."
Later he saw that each weed Was a singular knife. "Well," he
mumbled at last, "Doubtless there are other roads."
Dear Laura

The opposite of a profound truth is another profound truth.
Neils Bohr.

Say:  a strong framework, set of principles, guidelines
that create a realistic space for the release of creativity
towards a purpose.

is a profound truth re institutional educating  ("social science values")

Known Frontiers, Call it. Conscientious Pioneering. .

How would you characterize its opposite truth, so as to provide a
meta-framework that embraces also the antithesis of principles,
guilde lines, deterministic aims goals and measurable outcomes?

Call it:  Stalwart Pioneering Toward Frontiers Yet Unknown.

Need a shared 3rd term that  represents the complementarity
between Determinate SAC-ism &   Helter Skelter Indeterminacy
Known &  Unknown and why can't they maybe Just Get Along? .

Something like the ability to walk on eggs (woe) as well as the ability
to walk on water (wow) without  sacrificing one agility to the other,
know  what I mean?   Call it Liberal Art (as opposed to any of the
liberal arts--those majors, minors, capstones and poster events)

A shared "Over-all Boss/Governance" notion that transcends
SACS  Regulatory Professional Dominance AND a proper desire
to maintain Amateur Standing (say)-- embracing  the ongoing agon (y)
between these two opposing values without letting either economy
or culture have its way with the other.(Hegemony!)

That would be awesome.  Until that happens, I'll do my best to represent
& try to express anti-SAX-ism, not that  SACS isn't a profound truth
(regulatory principles, guidlines, purposeful projected behavior), but that
its bright gleam and  lucid scheming eclipses if not occludes its opposite
profound truth which is what? what the?  what the heck?  hello!

"Hmm: I see we are heading toward paradox:we must be making progress!"
Bohrs II)

Be careful what we prey for.

xxxooo, Sam.
