Waking UP
What wakes people in middle of
the night, cold sweat over injustice,
inequities & discrepancies, steep
slope construction, coal and clean
air issues, pepper spray, tuition
increases, mean-spirited & small-
hearted people, republican candidates
strangely are not what disturbs my
midnight hours.
My wake-up calls are trivial by
comparison, I’m embarrassed to
