Explain to me the differences if you can
between “root cause” on the one hand
and on the other: symptomania.
Between mess in the kitchen-- floating
pots, pans & kettles on the one hand and
on the other: holes in the roof.
Between when it’s raining and the sun
don’t shine on the one hand and on the
other when it’s not.
We’re at war, yes?
War on Poverty, War on Affluence.
War on Stupidity & Ignorance. War
on Human Nature: Greed, Envy. Desire.
Class War & Crimes of Fashion, War against
Handicapped & Learning Disability, against
Drugs, Discrepancies & Inequities
We’re mad as hell & not going to take it
any more. Peace? Peace? There is no
peace.
Rigor on the one hand. No one will deny its
role in the education of all ages. A village of
robust rigor ratcheting up for excellence.

I don’t have a leg to stand on. My house is built
on sand. Even f I’d invented E = MC squared,
say, I’d still be a bad driver, poor listener: A.D.D.
as far as the political issues of the daze are concerned:
