Morning Rain
An abysmal gap between having
Knowledge and Putting It in Play
—the difference between a noun
and a verb
I know many nouns
Their knowledge whelms.
Intimidates. Holy Smokes.
No doubt.
Guilt drives me, not Shame.
I should be ashamed no doubt but
thank God guilt trumps & I’m almost
shameless and can go about my father’s
pizza.
