Difference
 
I. A difference that makes no difference
          (Aesthetic. Descriptive)
 
II. A difference that makes a difference.
       (Ethic. Moral. Judgment call crying
                     out loud. )
                     
                      And

III. The difference between a difference
that  makes no difference & a difference
that  makes a difference is a difference
that really makes a difference: a big-deal
even maybe, say, meta- difference that
makes a difference as opposed to a
regular old difference that merely
makes a difference.
 
You can improve my terms maybe, but
try and preserve the different differences.

so as to avoid confusion amongst us.

Levels of logical typing: but our words
don't care to discriminate, so to speak.
A difference is a difference is a difference
they seem to claim--indifferent to the
levels & contexts of our critical thinking.
