Profane (outside the temple)
Liberal Art (samples)
My biggest challenge each morning
is looping my sock over the big toe
on my left foot and then rolling it up
over my ankle while thinking of the
slaughtered and dislocated people in
Syria so as to maintain perspective.
Also: starving children in Africa. and
the woman who suffered ravages of
flesh eating bacteria: her cheery
attitude keeps me ever mindful..
INTOLERANCE of Intolerance
The more I love whatever, the more
I hate what threatens it. Make love:
make hate. It’s the denial & cover up
that raises the bozone level.
I hate that.
I don’t practice what I teach or preach.
Don’t walk the talk. Am not as good
as my words. Don’t say what I mean
and mean what I say. Can't say
this out loud, however.
A Profanity:
Me: delivering my goods unasked,
uncalled for. No body said “send
in the clown.” But I persist. “Wait’ll
they get a load of this!? In vain.
Profane.
