Represent

Represent.

In  Drawing on the Right Side
of the Brain
, Betty Edwards says
 “Take some picture of something
you want to represent. Turn it
upside down and  draw what you see.”

All my stereotyped cliché notions
and images are suspended if not
banished  by the upside down reversal
and I draw  what-is rather than project
my habits,  habitats and tattoos of
perception.

Faking out the stereotypes, side-slipping
cliches. Tricking Ways We Talk so as  to
consider  HAP & what’s happening  as it is
& not conventionally how-we-talk-about-it:
which is how we think it is by habit and it is
not.

Gospel.  Excruciatingly Good News:
The violence bears it away. You nail
me, my fundamentalist friend. Death
& Resurrection, no doubt.  No myn
cometh to the farther but by the sum.
I go now, to prepare a place for you.
The lame shall enter first. A wretch
like me.  Hobble de hoy.

Represent.

Let me quote famous and sensitive people—
prophets, poets, artists, musicians, athletes,
politicians, historians, novelists, painters--
lines of thoughtful observation.  Sniff.  Up the
gnosis. Booty broken for view. Onto my rear
bumper.  T- shirt logo.  Hang  on my  wall.
Office door.  Signify. See these: see me.
Galore.
