To Die For

To Die For.

Suffering in translation may be

even excruciating—the passage
from eternal to temporal, from
Egypt to Promised Lands.

Smoke signals on a windy day
one cave to  another: cavities,
can can you hear me now?

Internal to  external  affairs.
Idiocy to common sense.
Translations flapping across
the abyss on wings of  doves”

Traduttore: traditore.
Betrayal devoutly desired.
