St. Valentine was a pagan priest who aided Christians,
was jailed as a result and subsequently converted to Xtianity
with a power and spirit sufficient to cure the jailers daughter
of her blindness, and in turn was stoned for the monstrous
deed, Feb 14, 269 .
On another note: you may be interested in curing the blind
but you have to have a calling for it, otherwise nevermind.
One thing: never let them think you think they are blind .
They'll immediately deny and resist. (Stiff-necked, used
to be called.) and throw the first stones. Don't diminish their
fears or disgust either. Turn it up. They're walking aren't they?
