Madnes Prompts: Reason Ratifies

  Madness Prompts: Reason Ratifies

     EnvironMentalism In a Dark Place

               Waiting for Gödel
               to  complete me: his
               theorem  revealing
               my incompleteness:
               inclined as I am to
               demonstrate my own
               consistency (see me,
               hear me, touch me,
               feed me.—the hob
               goblins of my brittle
               mind). Do I contradict
               my self?  I am large,
               I contain  pulchritude

My “world” might be said to have its head up &

through a glass darkly fundamentally speaking:
bottom line always--bottoms up & bottoming
out my home sweet home security  systems.

Or call it  cave-safe if not sound: wombed & tombed,
hysterical & embarrass mentally solipsistic, narcissistic,
sphinxed:  boxed & bubbled, Disneyworld doubled,
deluded & sealed-into myself sending sophomoric
semaphoric massage message medium smoke signals
on an always windy day—upstart in a strong wind,
reason in the sum.

This is just description: diagnosis merely, & in no way
a judgment nor the condemnation that denial would
be & cover up.

“It’s Dark as a Dungeon Way Down in the Mind” sings
Joan Baez from a stool at Club 47 in Cambridge,
jailbait at 15: motor cycles in the alley way
kick out the middle of her performance
data dayadhvam damyata  what a
hullabaloo &  she stops:  smiles
exquisite as the voice and
wwe smile too, loving
the sound  and also
the fury.

Truth: alive & well all around surround-sound  panoramic
panacea pandemic pancreative  pandemonium & I panic
dead and  door-nailed, hammered into institutionalization
& smooth operators.

I’m squeaking in tongues and would rather be forth-telling
but can’t  get it across my idiocy to common sense if not by
mining the  darkness:  stochastic suicide bombing missions
impossible noetic exploding the powers of trade & exchange
confounding again and again the convictions that Babel can
bridge across the rivers:  why? so as to cross the last frontier
established with tolls and  trolls,  become pontificators and
all will be well and all will be well.
