Incommensurate:

To demand that Ike & the Irrationals meet the
standards and values of Renee Rationalist &
her ilk  on the one hand; and on the other hand,
for Ike’s Irrationals to assume they might could
(if they only tried) express their irrationality in the
terms & satisfaction of Renee & the Rationalizers,
—well, I  say  pox on  both parties,  reaching
across the  I'll notwithstanding. 

What I do in class is heresy,
betrayal, violation of standards
and convention and tradition.

        INCOMMENSURATE

What I do in class is innovative,
experimental, stalwart pioneering
toward frontiers yet unknown.  . .

Double-trouble: of course I feel the doubt. No
defense  against the norm: the dominant paradigm.
Turn the other cheeks.
