Is it possible for a community or culture to have
a “working” and “coherent” organization, a self-
validating system that is nevertheless fucked-up
as far as the whole is concerned?
Our Sustainability aims and concerns – the
preservation of our ways of nurturing and
maintaining ourselves in our collective Terms
of Desire: is it possible to be fucked-up and
dysfunctional as far as Gaia or Mother Nature
or Universe is concerned—however you like
to label, characterize, and representthe whole?
And not even know it? (Or what would be
the signals, clues indicating SNAFU moving
toward FUBAR?)
Individuals, families, communities, states,
nations: somewhat fucked-up?.
Just describing here, not judging. Ok Ok: I’m
judging . My description itself is fucked-up, twisted,
biased. Is it fucked-up to admit I’m fucked-up,
without assuming that because I admit it I’m any
less fucked-up by virtue of the confession?
