Misanthropy III (Toward Frontiers Yet Unknown)

Colleagues My Colleagues.
Rigorous & Innovative:

Misanthropy III

   Hero with 1,000 phases

  Harvard’s Crisis of Faith :
   Can a secular university
   embrace religion without
   sacrificing its soul?

How come IT is my life longing
chaotic empty yearning terms
of  desire & restless legs syndrome
get no satisfaction?

And no cause & effect explanation
or interpretation suffice. Reasons
galore, sure: all partial & ripped-
off arbitrary ratios & rationalizations:
impoverished,inadequate . My
violence bears them away..

The direct objects of my desire
always manifest something like
new  Buicks, say, embodimental
care for wolf dogs & homeless
people looking for greener grass
recalling good old days getting
laid & playing golf down hill
skiing piano playing dietetic
responsibility jogging advanced
degrees public office & travel
service projects and
entertainment
tonight…

I  could go on.

   Borders Without Courses
for Transformationalist Wanna-Bes

Push the limits toward frontiers  yet
unknown,—border-line outlaw territory
where explanations flat-line and fall off,
interpretations attenuate, common sense
congeals, escape goats singing  tragic
songs of arbitrary bonding burdened
with necessary insufficiency—

Wild, wild west: turn it up, beyond  law &
order exposing Eeyore-Inadequacies, Pooh
Bearing  violations, Christopher Robbery &
Criminal Depravity: my reductions of  wholes
to suit my Kangaroo Squirms of Desire &
Lucid Schemes, not that there’s anything
wrong with that: it’s the denial and cover
up that  screws up  the  pouch, so to speak
in manners of speaking: murders  the  infant
in its cradle as Blake would say.

Turn up the limits. Turn up the uncertainty,
Turn up the indeterminacy. Turn up the clods
of unknowing. Turn up confusion &  ignorance
for God’s sake turn up ignorance &
pilgrim in this promised land.

Put IT in play.
Or what’s a college for?
