Energy on the one hand; Information on the Other

Dear Transcenders and Colleagues
Across the Curriculum and Courses
w/o Borders seriously

Kick a dog.
Break a rack of pool balls.
 
A difference, right?
A significant difference.
Oh, the two are related, sure.
IMPACT plays a bottom-line role.
 
But in the dog’s case, can we say
that INFORMATION also plays
a part, as he gallops down the street,
yipping and clamoring unfair! unfair!
(say)
 
OR: tell the dog to shut up and SIT.
 
Information plays a major role there
although of course energy acts as
medium, channel for the total
meta and physical response.
 
Why is INFORMATION and

  linked together?

(I don’t want to call it “masc” because
that’s a cultural relativity and not an
archetype,  I claim, always for the
sake of argument.)
 
 
And why is ENERGY and

linked together?

(I don't want to call this fem for the same
cultural conventional reason.)

Suspend momentarily the "masc" and  "fem"
connection even as you remember it and keep
it in mind. That way you can  achieve a
transcendental dis-connect and yet
retain the relationship--a feat of
liberal art. .

That was our fundamental question in
class. What’s the difference between
    
    INFORMATION and ENERGY?

Think that out if you're bored.
Separate and polarize and characterize.
 
(Ike Information and Edith Energy  collide
at the cross roads. Can  you imagine the
converse-action between  the 2 ? .  Do.
Do imagine it.  You are now practicing
mythologic.—reifying (thing-ifying) and
personifying abstraction in order to
make hard-copy sense for your self:
translating non-sense (the abstractions
"information" and "energy") into a common
sense Ike and Edith in relationship and do
they Just Get Along?
 
LOOK: it is the case that the ideas "masc"
& "mind" (information) are conflated, and
"fem"& "body" (energy) are too.  Is this
hard-wired? cultural bias, or what?
 
It’s easy to “drop” this abstract  meta-physical
distinction "down" into cultural and political
relativities and the appropriate power-struggles
they engender--emerging phenomena.

But it is also possible to not confuse political
concerns (life of body politic) with  conceptual
distinctions  (life of mind, minding.)

See the difference? 

The difference between information and energy
is LIKE the difference between mind and body,
true? Like the difference between thinking and
politic-ing: polite, policed policy. .

Is there a power struggle that  goes on between
mind and body? Information and Energy?   
I'm asking.

Is there a difference?
A relationship?
