Not By Breadth Alone
Not By Breadth Alone
"What's it like to be old, Sam?"
a student asked in class. And
another: "What do you
Believe in?"
Off task.
May we get back down
to our close readings
& textual harassment?
Is it a good thing when one learns
there's no such a deal as Santa nor
any correspondence between being
good & getting toys? Where does
your coal come from?
Like peer pressure, Santa never
goes away.
When your mind-set don't support
your experience: is that a moment of
grace? Good luck? Fortunate Fall
& Delectable Disillusionment or
Un-Banished Misfortune?
How we frame these things counts,
don't you agree?. Matters.
Frame Works.
