It’s one thing to declare: we must encourage
critical thinkers thinking critically.  A horse of
another collar to put it out there: the practice,
naked truth like playing old  time music, fiddle-
de-diddle & plinkty-plank-plunk.

        Critical Thinking
 
Bamboozled by devilish details surrounding a
transfer from Diversified Investment Advisers
to TIAA-CREF securing my  retire-mental
golden years; ignorant  as to how my car gets
to Connecticut (theoretically: internal combustion,
power-train and stuff  like that); tech-illiterate,
watching a student repair & clean my computer
so I can  tell him what counts in American Lit
& compose a syllabus to guide others through
the semester with no surprises or emergent
phenomena:  my critical thinking operates within
a cloud  of unknowing  gullible irrationality beyond
belief, bias, prejudice &.conviction & sealed
against  critical-thinking-turned-back-on-itself
which might could bring my walls come tumbling
down .
 
         Crucial Critical Knowledge:
 
What ever I say, the  remainder of the daze is
occluded by  my lucid schemes or at least eclipsed
so that anyone – appropriately satanic thank god –
may  accuse & dance around my inadequacies &
omissions,  yes but’s galore nailing me for exclusion
and reduction easily pointed out while claiming the
Bigger  Picture:

       forest when trees are emphasized,
                trees, when forest.
 
It’s critical and the crux of the matter that I must
have a diabolical mind to keep IT in play; no thing
myself beholding the nothing that is not there and
the nothing that is, and if we know this together, a
good time is had by all, other wise round & round
the mall berry tree, down & down  it goes: that old
black magic across the I’lls so to speak in manners
of speaking as it were as if  & something like nothing
but a critical mass. :
