Our academics are conservative: standard
old-school pedagogy for the stressed.
Assigned text, lecture & discussion, maybe
power point updating over head projection,
papers & exams and, for some, quizzes to
make sure they do the reading, rigor trumping
resilience: no one wants to be seen as easy.

Typed all my college papers on this—prior to wite-out
Took notes with a pre-bic fountain pen. My first course,
sat sandwiched

refolding newspapers under the nose of the lecturer.
