Awaken Offense: Liberal Art

Offense.

"If the Word is rightly proclaimed, then
it will also awaken offense"
& I nod in
agreement, unoffended because in the
WORD (so to speak):  club, culture, custom,
closet, convention, discipline, tradition and
I say YES: takes a pillage, thorn in the flesh,
pea under mattresses, insult to common sense
& propriety, scandal for crying  out loud and
violence bears it away.  No offense? Never mind.
Feel the pain? Bless your hurt

Liberal Art: The Practice

If I’m not offending any one, I’m not doing
my job. The practice of  dialectic can not
begin until some boundary has been crossed
that  offends a status quo.—a  “frontier yet
unknown” until  transgression indicates
homeland security breech.  How else expand
noetic and affective territory?

Cracks are where the light shines thru. Pretty
when sung  Something  else in  the gymnasium—
“naked training,” working out. Schola: leisure
time. Stunning & stunned stupid &  just right
for study.  Need we argue?

Ouch, ooo, ahh, oops damnit, hmmm, yes,
Yes, YES!
sound of  studentry. Liberal Art:
2  hands clapping.

Apologia

Who ever don’t know how to think for himself:
raise your hand. Don’t have a sense of humor?
Raise your hand. Ignore-ance  more than
attentiveness? Hands up. Hates more stuff
than loves: up with you hand.  You are without
spin. Throw the first scone.
