To Die For: Mid Semester Examination

To Die For

Suffering in translation may be
even excruciating—the passage
from eternal to temporal,  smoke
signals on a windy day one cave
to another, internal to external
affairs,  idiocy to common sense
flapping across the abyss on wings
of the doves.

I think I can I think I can.

Words strain., Crack and some
times break,  under the burden,
Under the  tension, slip, slide,
perish, Decay  with imprecision,
will not stay in place, Will not
stay still. Shrieking  voices .
Scolding, mocking, or merely
shattering, Always assail them.

 Mid Semester Examination

Feeling for bumps, scabs, marks of
deterioration & progress, scratching
scalp:  pondering, reflecting.

An unexamined life: not worth living.

Questioning operating assumptions,
controlling metaphors, belief & bias
systems for inconsistencies,  contra
dictions, loop holes, cognitive dissonance.

Royal Self Beatings system-chastening
examination: Me, Myself & I whupping
my triadic  ass to check out flaws,
weakness, vulnerabilities.

How 'bout them Achilles  heels?
Hidden premise?
Promise?
