SELFIE-STUDY “Know Thy Self,”
says Socrates. I have a monumental ego.
Narcissistic: I project my self & values on
others and everything with no exception
so that what I see is me in the mirror,
extended. projected. Solipsistic,
I am
salved & sealed in—my mind-set protected,
unyielding, impermeable:
home land secure
as I can get and sustain. How
could it be
other wise? It’s the denial and cover-up
that raises the bozone layer.
“No man does
wrong knowingly, “ says Socrates—though
many of my students both
politically
correct and incorrect, disagree
with him
on this score.
