We're All Philosophers

This is more like a philosophy

class than a literature class some 

female will wisely observe not 

too far into the semester

appropriately as the P’s in our 

PhD’s stand for philosophy. 

We’re all philosophers—Ph D’s 

signifying our love of wisdom 

and attaching to our signatures,  

office doors, e-mails, stationary, 

check books, syllabi: us teaching 

the philosophy of physics, the

philosophy of chemistry, the

philosophy of biology, the 

philosophy of sociology, history

psychology, religion…. I could 

go on. Liberal art Philosophy 

uber alles.
